The table was completely gutted and measurements inside the ball return channel were taken. Building a system for tracking new balls on the field as well as scores involved short throw proximity gate sensors.

A nuxt app running on the local server connected to an Arduino using JohnnyFive.io controlled scoring, as well as a small admin interface on the two iPhones for manual score adjustment.

Each successful score would show a custom random animation on the screens, as well as played audio from a collection of different MNUFC chants.
